1. SECRETARY PROJECT #1

An excellent opportunity for Secretary Project has arisen to join our Melak Coal Mine Project in East Kalimantan, Indonesia and reporting to Project Manager.

Some of your duties will include:
  • Responsible to ensure the front office / reception area responsibilities are carried out in an efficient manner
  • Promote a professional image of Management Department to the satisfaction of senior management
  • Provide proactive, quality administration support to the business
  • To perform all secretarial fuctions and responsible for general administrative support to Project Manager
  • Ensure the successful and efficient operation of the plant office and other administrative duties as necessary 
What skills and experience do you need?
  • Have minimum Diploma Degree with minimum 5 years in similar role
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, information monitoring and data collection, good communication in English as well Bahasa
  • Having strong motivation, able to lead and personnel management, organize, supportive, communicative and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits

3. PLANNER PLANT

An excellent opportunity for Asset Senior Specialist - Planning Support has arisen to join our Plant Support Departmen. Residentially based in Balikpapan Services Facilities and reporting to Asset Lead Planning.

Some of your duties will include:
  • Ensure that all Thiess Project are supported and aligned to the Thiess Asset Planning Process and Maintenance Management System Usage.
  • Identify project-based opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce maintenance costs
  • Identify practices that are out of date or redundant to improve workflow and reduce overall operating cost base
  • Carryout strategy reviews where required to ensure that all Thiess assets are maintained to achieve operational MTBF metrics while not compromising safety or budgets
  • Laiase with OEM's and Thiess content expert on current strategy update or reviews
  • Assist in the development of site personnel in planning systems and process
  • Ensure the JDE maintenance system is utilized effectively on all sites to ensure consistency and transparency across the business and records are maintained acurately
  • Laiase with the Asset Lead - Reliability to monitor, review and update Fleet Reliability processes
  • Support reliability processes implemented by the Asset Reliability Team
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of maintenance work through enhanced planning practices and new technologies
  • Continually laiase with suppliers and OEM's to identify improvement opportunities
  • Communicate innovations and improvements to key stakeholders in relation to system upgrades and requirements
  • Follow the Thiess Change Management Process for all proposed changes to Asset Strategies & or Design Registrations
What skills and experience do you need?
  • Trade qualification / Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications / experience, requires a minimum 5 years professional experience in similar role as Planner in maintenance and planning in the mining industry
  • Experience in maintenance operations with large mining equipment, scheduling and planning maintenance activities for large mining equipment, maintenance Warehousing and Inventory management processes and supervising crews in a maintenance environment is preferred
  • Familiar with Heavy Equipment's and have working knowledge of contract management, including subcontractors, awareness of plant operation regularly requirements
  • Proficient in MS Office, competence in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. JDE), have skills in planning component methods, principles and technique, have a good analytical and reporting skills
  • Good communication in English as well Bahasa, computer literate, Highly Effective communication skills, Ability to negotiate with stakeholders and influence outcomes, high initiative, proactive, performance driven, good planning and organizing skill, able to work under pressure
